Speed skating
Host of the first recognized ISU event outside of Europe, more than five ISU Speed Skating World Cups and Championships and many selection competitions for our successful Canadian Olympic Speed Skating team, Montréal has a long tradition of success in ISU events both in speed skating and figure skating. It is a leading international speed skating and winter sports destination that has it all. Olympians such as Marc Gagnon, Kim Boutin and Charles Hamelin have all trained at Speed Skating Canada’s national training center. Speed skating is in Montréal’s DNA!
