Home to some of the world’s most talented professionals and host of the biggest underground skate scenes in North America and many international competitions year-round, Montréal is a leading international skateboarding destination. The city’s unique urban facilities and many skateparks make for a very versatile playground for skateboarders. With one of the biggest indoor skateparks in Canada and the newest Vans Skatepark at the Olympic Stadium, Montréal really has it all.
Athletes such as Bob Burnquist, 14-time X Games champion, the iconic Tony Hawks, Montréal champions Annie Guglia, Elliot Sloan and prodigy Gavin Bottger have all shined at Montréal skateboard competitions.

The Vans skatepark at the Olympic Stadium Esplanade
The 900 m2 concrete dome skatepark recently hosted the Vans Park Series, bringing some of the world’s best male and female skateboarders together for a weekend. This new facility was created by Vans in collaboration with the California Skateparks company, which has designed hundreds of such parks around the globe. The Vans Skatepark is one of the best places in Canada for skateboarders to practice their sport.

The Taz
Boasting a unique urban and industrial design, this skateboarding facility features 162 different ramps that offer skateboarders almost endless possibilities. The venue is equipped with modern, high-quality facilities for large-scale sports and events and can seat up to 2,400 people.
