Rugby is central to Montréal’s sports scene. Rugby in America all started in Montréal 155 years ago with a game between two British army divisions. It is here that the first rugby club and first university rugby program were founded. With more than 14 rugby college and university teams competing in the Montréal region and the highest number of players and clubs in the province, our rugby community is strong. Rugby is in Montréal’s DNA!

Olympic Stadium
One of the most popular Olympic facilities in the world, the stadium includes the most modern high-performance multisport centre in Québec and in Canada and has a rugby field with a seating capacity of more than 56,000 people. It is fully equipped for TV production and offers superior hospitality suites and services.
Saputo Stadium
A world-class stadium inaugurated in 2013, it has a nearly 21,000-seat capacity. This stunning stadium boasts natural turf and beautiful corporate suites, and is a real jem in Canada’s stadium inventory. It is home to the Montréal Impact and hosts most of the professional team’s games and championships.
Percival Molsol Memorial Stadium
Overlooking downtown Montréal, at the foot of Mount Royal, this 25,000-seat stadium is a unique venue for rugby events and has a truly vintage feel. It is the primary home of the Montréal Alouettes, the city’s professional CFL football team.
