Recognized worldwide as the ultimate hockey town, Montréal is regular host to international events such as the IIHF World Junior Ice Hockey Championships, the Women’s Hockey World Cup, the first-ever World Cup of Hockey (1996) and more than 24 Stanley Cup Finals. The city’s deeply-rooted ice hockey community works tirelessly to bring regional and national events to the city on a regular basis to help develop and train the thousands of Montrealers who call hockey their sport. Montréal is home to the Montréal Canadiens, one of the oldest, most celebrated and most successful professional hockey teams in the world. The whole city comes alive on game nights! Centre Bell
Located in the heart of downtown Montréal, the 21,000-seat Centre Bell is home to the Montréal Canadiens and IIHF events.

Aréna Maurice-Richard
Named after legendary Canadiens hockey player Maurice ‘Rocket” Richard, this world class arena has a capacity of up to 6,000 seats and an international-size ice surface.

Auditorium de Verdun
Montréal’s third-largest arena, it boasts a seating capacity of up to 4,000 and two NHL ice rinks and has been recently modernized.
