Host of many international ISU events, including the ISU World Figure Skating Championships in 1932, Montréal is a leading international figure skating destination. Montréal is a figure skating centre of excellence that has trained Olympians and world champions such as Joannie Rochette, Marie-France Dubreuil, Patrice Rozon, Tessa Virtue, Scott Moir, Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron. Skaters from around the globe come here to train and become world-class athletes.

Centre Bell
Home to the Montréal Canadiens NHL team, the Centre Bell has 21,000 seats and leading-edge sport events services. This iconic venue is often used for major events.

Aréna Maurice-Richard
A world-class stadium with a 6,000-seat capacity and an international-size ice surface, it hosts the ISU Short Track Speed Skating World Cups and Championships as well as the ISU figure skating and synchronized skating events.

Auditorium de Verdun
Montréal’s third largest arena, it boasts a seating capacity of up to 4,000 and 2 NHL ice surfaces and has been recently renovated.

Sportplexe Pierrefonds
Sportplexe Pierrefonds is one of the most modern multi-rink arenas in Québec. With four ice rinks and up to 1,500 seats, the Sportplexe makes an excellent host for Skate Canada and ISU events thanks to its superior quality facilities and services.
