Host to many signature climbing and bouldering events, including the Youth Pan Am Championships and the competitive Psicobloc summer event, Montréal is an emerging destination for climbing events. With a mountain in the heart of the city, a profusion of lush urban parks and a network of a dozen modern climbing gyms, climbing fever has hit the city and Montrealers want more!

Montréal’s cutting-edge climbing infrastructures

More than a dozen indoor climbing walls and centres city-wide
Including several venues that host international and national climbing competitions. Horizon Roc is the only climbing gym in Canada to provide official international-level climbing walls for the three competition climbing disciplines and boasts the only 15-metre-high speed wall in eastern Canada. Allez-up is a climbing centre that hosts national competitions.

Parc Jean-Drapeau
Parc Jean-Drapeau, a man-made island in the middle of the St. Lawrence River, offers stunning views of downtown Montréal’s skyline. Its world-class climbing infrastructure includes a 16-metre high Psicobloc wall built over an Olympic-size pool that is surrounded by hundreds of seats.
