An international symbol of Montréal, the Olympic Stadium — and its Tower, was designed by French architect, Roger Taillibert, and built as the main venue for the 1976 Summer Olympics. This Montréal monument can welcome large-scale indoor events such as shows, galas, sporting matches, trade shows, exhibitions or social events. Its Esplanade, an urban park made up of nine platforms, also offers a breathtaking view of the Stadium and the Tower. The Stadium can welcome up to 56,000 people. Smaller rooms, such as the Mezzanine Est, the Salon 300 and boxes, are ideal locations to host a cocktail reception or press conference. The Sports Centre features six basins for water sports, training areas, and state-of-the-art equipment.
