In addition to physical education classes and college sports activities, the Centre sportif du cégep Édouard-Montpetit offers a community sports program for the general public and a service for businesses (CorporAction). Outdoor equipment rental is also available. The sports centre regularly hosts local, regional, provincial and national competitions.
