Built between 1876 and 1878, the Windsor Hotel was once one of the most striking examples of Second Empire architecture in Canada. The palatial splendour of the Windsor Hotel’s heyday lives on in this multipurpose venue that has hosted royalty, celebrities and statesmen of renown across the decades. Boasting over 15,000 square feet of event space, Le Windsor Ballrooms offers a stately backdrop for corporate events, wedding receptions, galas and fundraisers. The Victorian-style Salon Windsor and French Renaissance Salon Versailles are prime settings for extravagant soirées. Peacock Alley, with its signature marble floors and suspending rows of crystal chandeliers high above, cannot be equalled for a grand entrance.
